Tracks - six individual throws

The mini-series Tracks was inspired by animal paw and hoove prints in the snow. Each blanket is freehand embroidered and covered with a unique track pattern. If you are curious, read more in this blog post.

The six woollen blankets are woven in merino wool and fur sheep yarn. The Norwegian fur sheep graze in barren coastal landscapes and feed on grass and heather. In the wool factory in Hillesvåg, the long, soft wool is carefully cleaned, the light and dark grey locks are spun together and then dyed without previous bleaching. This is how the beautiful, mottled colours are created in a completely natural way.

The woollen blankets measure ca. 135 x 210 cm and have irregular, organic-looking fringes. Each piece is brushed by hand until the surface is soft and fluffy. Wool is naturally dirt repellent, the blankets are equally suited to cuddle under on the sofa as outside on the balcony or in the garden seating area.
