Colourful stripes with a distinct zigzag pattern to brighten your day – soft, warm, and wonderfully fluffy. Zigzag exists only twice: once with a red and once with a blue base colour.

These blankets grew out of my wish to weave with the left-over fur sheep yarn I had used for Ripple and Tracks. The Norwegian fur sheep graze in wind-swept coastal landscapes, feeding on grass and heather. At the Hillesvåg wool mill, the grey, silky locks are carefully cleaned, spun, and dyed without prior bleaching – allowing the beautiful, naturally mottled shades to emerge on their own. The warp is Italian merino.

Zigzag is finished with hand-twisted fringes and measures 120 × 200 cm.
